JASON XV: Rainforests at the Crossroads

This page contains links to sites related to JASON XV.  Take time to explore them or let your students do so and report to others what they learn or could learn from each site.  I will add new links as I become aware of them.

JASON XV Links:
Georgia JASON site
YOU MUST VISIT THIS SITE!  The folks in Georgia do a truly  wonderful job identifying and creating resources to support their JASON teachers.  Be sure to explore all the sites linked from this page: Resources, Novels, Video/Animations, Curriculum, and Primarily JASON.

Primarily JASON is a wonderful resource for lower and middle elementary teachers.  There are numerous ways to link the JASON curriculum.  ALL JASON teachers will find something they can use in "Primarily JASON".  From the PJ page you can download the Word document that explains all the ideas.

The Novel section on the Georgia site is loaded with valuable resources and ideas for each of the six novels tied to JASON XV.  Be sure to visit those pages, too.

Buy a peach this winter to thank the folks in Georgia!

Mrs. Renz's 4th grade class website:

Check out this site with dozens of links classified into units.  Mrs. Heather Renz, a Teacher Argonaut for the JASON XV expedition to Panama, created the site to help her 4th grade students and any other JASON teachers and classrooms around the country.  Definitely one to check out!
